My studio/workroom…

Having started my career in the Fine Art world, I am used to referring to any workspace as ‘my studio’ but I sometimes feel very self conscious about that. Pretentious, moi?

To be honest, I don’t even work in this room. The space is just a store for all my materials and finished products.

I actually work on the dining table where I have a view out onto the garden and can sit with the back doors open, listening to the birds.

I feel very lucky to run my own business and work from home. It’s incredibly hard work, with long hours and no easy boundaries, but it’s such a privilege to have the time to explore design ideas and surround myself with things that inspire me.
