“My favourite shop in the whole world - I have a collection of things dotted around my house that will be treasured for a lifetime.”
Find unique homewares.
Made from reclaimed and repurposed materials.
I specialise in taking old things and making them into new things!
Kettle of Fish Designs is a one woman business, managed by Karen Kench, that creates unique designs for interiors, using mainly repurposed materials alongside an extensive library of historical photographs, illustrations and artwork.
“I use digital enhancement, image modification and combinations of unusual materials to breathe new life into the images and create a juxtaposition of art and design that is perfect for eclectic homes. My pieces re-present vintage book illustrations and paintings, incorporating them into art prints, fabrics and home decor that can be unique to you.
A major part of my ethos is sustainability. The materials I use are usually natural and will be reclaimed, repurposed or recycled wherever possible. I also work hard to avoid waste….and, for this reason, my studio is full to the rafters with drawers full of bits and bobs that ‘might come in’!”
Let Kettle of Fish Designs make something different for your home.
Send gifts straight to your friends and family.

If your tastes are a little unconventional, and you love the thrill of a vintage find,
